On-Site Adventures

Adventure on the Ranch

Whether you are here with a group or having a romantic get-away, we encourage you to enjoy all Cypress Valley has to offer. (Because we are a working ranch with a herd of American Bison and a farm, we ask you never enter pastures with closed gates or go past employee only signs.)

Here is just a taste of what you will find on the Ranch...

Free Espresso @ our Camp Store

Enjoy a morning cup of espresso or an organic cup of tea on us, at Cypress Valley's Camp Store.

Lawn Games

Play like a kid and let your worries melt away with our fun adult and family friendly lawn games! Located in our main recreation area, you can embark on a friendly competition with Bocce ball, cornhole, horseshoes, and, yes, GIANT CHESS!

Our Small Lake

Originally built to retain rainwater to improve ground water retention and serve our livestock and farm, this seasonal lake has become a favorite of guests.

Swimming in the Lake

We encourage squeals of joy as guests try all the ways to enter our seasonal lake--jumping off the wheelhouse, using the rope swing, or ziplining into the middle of the lake! NOTE: Activities allowed depend on the height of lake based on rainfall and vary year to year.

Grill your favorite BBQ @ the lake

Enjoy a fun dinner grilled lakeside — cook on our gas grills and clean up at the outdoor sink. We even have local BBQ sauce, mustard, catsup, and more if you forget any condiments for your meal.

Lakeside Pool

In the heat of the summer, when the lake is shallow, our large pool makes a great spot for cooling off, gathering, and just plain relaxing close to water.

Afternoon Naps Always Welcome

After a hard day of play, who can resist a hammock under a shade tree with the sound of wind chimes and song birds to lull you to sleep?
