A very unique and memorable experience. Never have I seen so many beautiful stars in my life, nor experienced such calmness. It can get a bit chilly in the evenings, but otherwise, everything was perfect. From the accommodating staff to the delicious in-room coffee in the morning, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
Our experience was nothing, but dreamy. i would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to disconnect from the daily stress.
We had the most romantic, cozy, relaxing and memorable experience here. We had one night in Juniper cabin and one night in the romantic abode with a full waterfall hot tub. The staff were super welcoming. The cabins were so charming and clean and comfortable. Great heated blankets and space heaters for the 30 degree nights! Gorgeous scenery. Can’t wait to come back in spring.
A two night stay was not enough. This place was beyond any comfort you could get from any hotel! It was so peaceful and perfect! The staff was very responsive and absolutely amazing! <3 We will definitely be back!

Lawrence and I had our wedding at Cypress Valley and it was beyond perfect. The staff are phenomenal and the location is hard to beat. I highly recommend this spot!
We had our perfect romantic fairytale wedding at Cypress Valley Event Center. The venue is magical and it’s covered in plush greenery. The brides entrance is grand with a perfect reception area for afterwards. Preferred vendor list are experts in their fields and friendly. They ensured every detail was in place for us. We cannot thank them enough and highly recommend this venue for weddings.
My fiancé and I stayed in the Lofthaven treehouse - absolutely stunning! Pictures do not do justice for this place, you have to go and experience it for yourself. From the hammock to the king size canopy bed to the waterfall in the bathhouse, you will be floored. Everyone on the property is kind and informative of the area, which made it easy for me to get comfortable in the treetops of the Forest. This place is truly magical for those with adventurous hearts and spirits. Best birthday ever!
This was a great place for a short getaway during the off season. The weather was perfect for cozying up in a tree house cabin. We stayed in the Lofthaven.....AMAZING! The staff was very welcoming. They have the best customer service ever! We will definitely be back in the summer for swimming.
Perfect getaway for my husband and I. We were looking for a unique nature getaway to unwind and unplug. This was it for us. Beautiful there and even though every treehouse was booked, it still felt like we were alone. Thank you, we will be booking again.
We stayed in the Willow, it was a great experience, I felt grounded in God's creation. The showers had plenty of hot water, and the swimming pool was nice and refreshing. Thank you Beau for your hospitality . I am looking forward to returning once this crazy virus is gone.
Our stay was excellent! We stayed at Yoki and everything from the bed to the soaking tub was perfect. Absolutely recommend this to everyone.
Having stayed in the tree houses at Cypress Valley twice before we knew we wanted to have our October 7th destination wedding in this magical, romantic, serene space. The experience of planning over the past year was so much easier than what we imagined it might be. With the help of our wedding coordinator (Heather), CVEC's general manager (Shelby), and co-owners (Amy & David) it was all pretty seamless...even when the weather threatened to thwart our plans! They all went above and beyond to make sure our experience was seamless and memorable and they didn't disappoint! They even threw in some unexpected lovely surprises for us!!! We chose to reserve the entire facility for the weekend and housed our wedding party in the ranch house and family in the tree houses. It was perfect! Yoga on the deck for the girls on the morning of the wedding was a great way to ease into the festivities. Our guests are still talking about how it was the most beautiful setting for a wedding they've ever attended, and how perfectly it supported our vision for a magical, romantic, fun, and unique experience. You will fall in love with this place; you'll be impressed with the staff; and you will have the most incredible and unique experience for your wedding day. Book this place for your ceremony, and definitely consider reserving it all for the weekend; you will be SO glad you did!
So – let me paint you a picture. It’s 5 weeks before our wedding and our venue cancels on us. I was frantically searching for a new venue, when clouds parted and a beam of light from heaven descended upon me and brought Cypress Valley Event Center to my attention. They NOT ONLY let us have our wedding out there on a day they typically wouldn’t be open, they were quick to respond to texts and emails, worked with our budget, worked to help us reach our wedding vision (which required a few waivers, haha!), and were phenomenal all around. If you’re looking for a magical and romantic outdoor location for your wedding, look no further. Imagine yourself descending through an amphitheater while your beau and best people are waiting for you on a bridge suspended over a stream of babbling water. It is perfect. At night, there are lights in the trees that make it seem almost otherworldly as the lights dance on the cypress leaves. The venue provides tables, chairs, some decorations, the ceremony and reception spot have gorgeous warm lighting, and a bar area is provided. I can’t thank Cypress Valley and Shelby enough for the experience they gave us. It was truly the best day of our lives and our guests had a ball. People are still talking about how wonderful it was out there. If you’re looking for an outdoor venue, this is THE ONE.
Cypress Valley was the best decision we made my sister's wedding. Being in the industry I helped plan it but knew nothing about anyone in Austin. I was told to find somewhere with lots of trees, not to hot or too cold, and it had to have an indoor space for the small reception. When I saw the photos I thought the venue was too good to be true but then we toured it and it was just so beautiful and special. You feel so secluded in nature. But then it does great things like include the tables and chairs for your reception, AND they have a bucket of clear umbrellas just in case. Shelby was amazing to work with and made everything so easy for us. I cannot recommend this wonderful venue enough.
AMAZING venue, amazing staff!! Shelby is literally the sweetest human, and everyone who works there was soo helpful and nice. The treehouses are awesome and our bridal party had the best time staying in the ranch house before the wedding! Our guest were in awe at the scenery and uniqueness of the venue and we all had such a great time! :)
Let me begin by saying that Cypress Valley is not just a vendor to me because they feel more like family. Not only is the venue the most unique and magical place to possibly get married in, but the staff were down-to-earth, kind, and helpful right from the start and were a joy to work with. One of the best parts about deciding to get married at Cypress Valley was the level of trust and independence I had with the staff. They aren’t overbearing and rigid like so many other wedding venues out there. They trust that you will respect their rules and the space, and then are completely hands-off from there unless you need them. My wedding was beautiful and the guests LOVED the venue! I cannot recommend them enough and am so appreciative that they helped me have the wedding of my dreams!
This venue is basically Disney World for me. It’s absolutely magical, whimsical and truly unique. Definitely look into booking your wedding here, once you see this place in person you’ll understand how truly special it is. We rented out the tree houses for our weeding and had guests stay there and it’s an experience no one will ever forget. The staff was great and always available throughout the entire process. I could not recommend more!! Go see for yourself.
Cypress Valley holds a very special place in my heart. My first getaway with my now husband, was a stay in one of their treehouses and a canopy tour for his birthday. The people and details were so incredible that when he proposed a few months later, it seemed like the perfect place for our wedding. Covid brought a lot of complications to our planning. We had to reschedule and Shelby, the manager, was incredibly accommodating. I have nothing but kind words and appreciation for her. She helped us turn a very special day even more special. She gave us reccomendations for other vendors, lists, pictures of inspiration. Everything we needed for planning, she had. We will definitely be back to our special place.
Mmy boys and I had a wonderful time at your treehouse in early February! They loved everything about it – even having to brave the cold and run across the bridge – which they swore was haunted – to go to the bathroom at night. No one wanted to leave – and we will for sure be returning. Your staff was great – very welcoming and informative. And of course the Nest was amazing and perfect.
The nest treehouse made us feel like we were in a whole different country. The whole experience was spectacular. Everyone should stay here at least once in their lives. Put it on your bucket list!
Our stay at the Nest was memorable and special. We spotted two (2) great horned owls (a mating pair?) early in the morning. What a treat to stay in this treehouse (our first, but definitely not last). There needs to be a word termed for “elevated treehouse” like the term glamping is used for “glamorous camping”. It definitely applies to your wonderful retreat.
My mom and I had SUCH a FUN experience on Wednesday! We just couldn’t get over it. Then the lunch at La Cabana was delicious. We just sat there and talked and talked about how delightful the experience was, how professional the whole operation was, how sweet and perfect the staff were, how romantic the tree house bedroom was…etc! I am talking about it with everyone I know, so I hope you are ready for all the word-of-mouth business!
You guys were awesome and gave us an absolute unforgettable experience of a lifetime.
